User-selectable air velocity ranges include ft/min, m/sec, mph, knots, and km/hr. Built-in thermistor records ambient temperature in °F or °C. The unit features an area input mode, which allows the unit to convert velocity readings to volume (CFM). Model 8906 features include data hold and record/recall minimum, maximum and average readings. Also, units have the ability to record and average up to 2 hours of data while displaying the continuous running average.  Includes a hard carrying case, one 9V battery, and instruction manual.
