The Standard Balometer® is dependable and easy to use, making it an industry favorite. you can obtain CFM readings on a large, precision-balanced, mirrored scale simply by placing a hood over a diffuser or grille (fabric hoods are available for the most common applications). The easily observed trend values and fast meter response make the Standard Balometer® an indispensable tool for a variety of applications. The Balometer® samples flow by capturing air in the hood and channeling it through the base and 16-point manifold. The core of the Balometer's measuring system is the Velometer®-an industry standard in the air balancing and industrial hygiene fields. The Velometer® has an intrinsically safe, mechanical swing-vane sensor featuring four ranges up to 2000 CFM, with alternate models in cubic meters per hour and liters per second. The Standard Balometer® features excellent resolution, resulting in unmatched accuracy throughout its range. Each Balometer® set includes a rugged transportation case, a comprehensive warranty, and the backing of one of the world's authorities in air flow measurement.
