Head assemblies are 3-inches or 5-inches in diameter. Units are constructed of rugged stainless steel (300 series) case, bezel, fittings and stem. The head assembly is sealed to exclude dirt, dust and moisture. All joints are welded. A gasketed glass window is standard on 3" and 5" dial sizes. Where breakage is a concern, a plastic or shatterproof glass window is optional at extra cost. 

Standard stem lengths are available from 2.5" to 12" in length, with custom stems available up to 72" long. Temperature ranges from -70°F to 1000°F are available, in °F, °C or dual scale °F and °C. 

All Weksler Bimetal Thermometers have an accuracy of ±1% of the full scale range. For accurate readings, the stem must be immersed at least 2 inches (5cm) in liquids and 4 inches (10cm) in gases.
